Fallow Clothing: Made with Freedom in mind

It’s a beautiful thing with passion and purpose align. It’s an even more beautiful thing when companies of integrity find a way to incorporate ethics, sustainability and social justice into the very ethos of their business.

This is the way of the future.

And I am incredibly proud when I can call the trailblazers, innovators and makers of our beautiful, new future my friends.

Meet Rebecca Young, the founder and heart behind Fallow Ltd. She didn’t know that she was going to be part of this post when she arranged to have me review her new Fall 2016 collection, but that’s the way it goes when you enlist bloggers to advertise for your company! You don’t get to control what they write.

In the many years that I have known Rebecca, she has proven her character to be kind, thoughtful and incredibly compassionate. Her convictions for the dignity of humanity has brought her to all corners of the globe, seeking to understand the impact of consumer choices and how we can effectively bring lasting solutions to communities effected by poverty, exploitation, gender inequality and other devastating social justice issues.

Like many young entrepreneurs, she is making these issues personal. And doing her part to offer viable options out of fast fashion, consumer culture and damaging economics that enslave others around the world and leave a toxic footprint in our planet’s precious DNA.

Meet Fallow Ltd.

In their own words, Fallow is “carrying clothing collected from the free for the free, they offer a selection of both ethical and sustainably sourced goods that are designed with the future in mind.

Fallow is where you will find curated collections of beautiful things from around the world- both near and far. They are working towards building relationships with their suppliers and sourcing from people and places they believe to be moving towards the same vision: creating timeless beauty that gives back.

In supporting companies who run sustainably, and who provide more than just the bare minimum to their employees, they are providing goods made from the free for the free. ”

I had the opportunity to preview some of the new Fall 2016 collection, available now online and I am incredibly excited to share with you the first glimpse of this new collection.

All photos were taken by Shaunielle Ross and are extra special to me, not only for the freedom and dignity that they represent, but also because they are the last photos ever taken of Chayton and I in our first family home.

I hope you enjoy this sneak peek into our world, and gain inspiration for how practical it can be to incorporate ethical and sustainable living into your daily wardrobe.
